Today's beautiful fine art styled shoot comes from the coast of West Vancouver. Kirill Bordon, a North Vancouver based fine art wedding and portrait photographer, sent us this lovely film submission from a shoot that he did in the fall with a very interesting concept: Nicole and Brendan, featured, are getting married this summer in Mexico and this was a "pre-wedding styled photo shoot". I think it's a really unique way to get to know your style, get familiar with the camera, and have some fun!
Don't you just love all the different surroundings and textures in this shoot? I'm a huge fan of incorporating natural elements into design, so to see the moss-covered stone waterfront, deep blue waters and evergreens, mixed in with the most unusual and beautiful indigo and cornflower blue florals... it makes me feel so peaceful instantly. That's what I love about the West Coast - southern turquoise water is fun and the beaches are soft, but the West Coast has so much more depth. Beautiful.
