PLANNER: You have the most important roll in the company. You must be an administrative goddess. You are the gatekeeper of knowledge. You are a perfectionist. Your roll is to manage the entire planning process on a clients' file: everything from managing the budget, contacting vendors for contracts, organizing client files, and staying way ahead of deadlines. This job typically requires 30-60 minutes of emails a day, one 3 hour team meeting a week, and possibly client meetings by Facetime or Skype.
COORDINATORS: You help direct all on-site events on the wedding day. You are the go-to person for the wedding day itself. Without you, we can't function. You must be comfortable in a leadership position. You must be hyper-organized and can handle large amounts of stress with grace. You must be personable and presentable. This job typically requires one monthly Skype or Facetime meeting with your couples, some administrative work the month of the wedding, 2 hours of leading the rehearsal the day before, and typically 12 hours of on-site work the day of the wedding.
STYLISTS: You are our day-of decorator. You can look at a box of stuff and know instinctively how to make it look good. You understand when something "isn't working" and know how to fix it. You can follow precise directions well and you're quick on your feet. You are self-directed. Your role is to set up the decorations on the wedding day (or sometimes the day before) exactly as our plan illustrates but to also use your judgment and creativity. You are typically required for 1 in-person meeting the month of the wedding, possibly a site visit at the venue, 3-4 hours of set-up the morning of the wedding, and possibly 1 hour of tear down at the end of the night. This job is perfect for anyone looking for a creative, fun job on weekends in the summer.
FLORISTS: You are inherently creative/artistic, understand colour palettes and love flowers (of course). This job isn't as pretty as it looks. We need help on Wednesdays to process the flowers, then on Fridays to make the arrangements. We might need you for on-site installations on Saturday mornings as well. You'll get dirty but you'll have a blast too.
